ls with ys1 tranny?

Does any one have an ls motor with a YS1 tranny? how much faster is it than the ls trans? is it worth doing if i already got the tranny? i wanna know cus i goota choice between the ls one and the YS1 non lsd

The YS1 is from the B17 is has a shorter gear ratio. Other then that can't say its any better or any worse just depends on the condition of the two.

I don't know if it would make that much difference with just basic bolt ons.

it will definately affect your highway driving speeds, that is for gas mileage purposes
