ls vtec vs type r

nice video,ls vtec probably had more then just the head im sure he played with the internalls, cams, port, pistons rods etc.....

the regular ls got smoked by the R but when that LS was no longer regular and converted to LS/VTEC then i beat the R. Like the guys were sayin i dont think it was just a head change that won the race the guy probably had internals done

yeah he must have done internals 2 cause theres no way an LS with just the head changed for Vtec can keep up with an R. an R has so many more differences concerning performance than an LS. (higher compresion pistons other intakemani etc etc. the LS has 142hp standard the Type R has almost 200 so that would be a 60hp gain by only putting the Vtec head on? didnt think so...

ive seen this video...the stock LS got fuckd by the type R..but then when the LS got the conversion the type R got fuckd up...

i want to know what the hell's wrong with either the type r or the driver of it because it barely walked on a damn ls. Mine will whoop on gsr's nevermind ls'

its more than just puting on a
head when ever you do a correct lsvtec you can make 50-80 horses i personaly seen it done by nyce performance thats a honda club from n.y they have a 11 second all motor civic red with yellow rims :lol:

Keep in mind that they went from a rolling start. LS's have better mid range tq. the Type R actually pulled away pretty good on the LS. My question is: What kinda drivers are you racing w/ the LS's? Type R's are quick, but not like insanely fast. I used to beat my friend's Civic SI w/ my stock LS all the time. When I got my Type R, I beat him more, but not like 10 cars or anything.

I'm assuming that your Type R is stock?
