ls vtec is definately faster than an se-r. just cuz the name has an R in it doesnt mean its fast. ls/vtec is quite a crazy frankenstein. its got all the torque and high revs that other motors dont have. ls/vtec is def faster. but if you want to ask about reliability? thats a different story..
