LS Compression Test Results

Hey guys... just did a compression test on my Ls.. 160000 miles....
(from right to left..) 185, 185, 190, 185...
Is that good?...

Those are very excellent numbers, especially for an engine with 160K. A 28psi spread is allowed between the cylinders for the engine to be considered healthy, so 5 is really good!

It shouldn't make that much of a difference at WOT... Like tegsox said, thats awesome! mine were like 10psi spread with 160k on it. good numbers mang!

Ive always had good luck on my engines (fingers crossed). The teg had less than a 3psi spread at 80k miles. And my eclipse has less than a 5psi spreak at 93K!

with a cylinder compression gauge tester.. take out the spark plugs and connect to it.
