its either after market springs with after market shocks or you can do coilovers which cost a little more but you can adjust ride height

Springs and Struts is what you need, lowing to car on old ass factory struts are not going to ride so nice

lowering it too much will throw off camber right? So maybe he could need a camber kit also?

This is a question with no real answer. Yes and No are both "technically" correct.

If you choose a setup such as ITR springs or H&R OE Springs, then yes those are all you need.

If you plan on lowering the car more than an inch, you really should consider aftermarket struts that can handle the load...otherwise you'll wear out your oem struts pretty quickly.

If you plan on dropping the car considerably, you may want to look into a camber kit to eliminate the rediculous angle your wheels will sit at and save your tires from being prematurely worn.

And dont mistake stuff like the KYB GR2s as aftermarket. While the "aftermarket" part holds true, they are simply an OEM style replacement. Ive ridden on stock struts with coilovers and springs with no adverse effects. A setup with shocks definatly rides better though.

I ran Ground Control Springs with Tokiko Iluminas on my 94 and it was a nice ride... was lower than my RSX too.

It all depends what you want your car to do, look low, or look low and handle well. You may well need more than just springs for the latter. As mentioned, I would look for shocks to go with the springs, or just get coilovers, which to be honest, have become more attainable with price drops.

I have a question pertaining to this thread? Im really short on money and really really want to lower my 94 Teg, so what kind of set up would I be looking for? (Specific brands and parts). I want to drop it like 2 1/2 inches. So am I looking at Springs, Shocks, Camber, and Struts??? Thats a lot. dunno if I can afford all of that.

If all you want is a small drop go with Eibach prokit or tein s. Also, go with spc adjustable bal joints or ingalls camber kit.

I have lowered a few of my older honda accords on H&R sports with KYB GR2 shocks and the result was very good. Ride was similar to stock and they lasted me way over 50k with no adverse effects. I am planning to do the same with my LS.

If you are only going to lower under 2" forget about a camber kit, get a good alignment and you are AOK. Just get a new set of shocks (since your originals are more than likely getting tired)
