my bro just got a 89 ls...he wants to drop it- get suspension what is the way to go with this car? Is it also true you have to use front tore-shun bars?

i love when ppl reply and nit pick spellin n such....they're spelled torsion bars and yes u have 2 use a torsion bar set up unless you wanna go custom....they make torsion bars that'll drop the front way down (lighting motorsports i believe) and in the rear they sell adjustable coil springs...ground control makes em. once i get my motor in ima look into coilovers for torsion bar civics n crx's....tein makes a set for og tegs but i cant justify puttin 1200 coilovers on a car i bought 4 800 bux. hope that helps more than johnny trans post above me

what about the 27.5mm torsion bars upgrademotoring.com makes? are they the same as the lightspeed ones?

basically just a differant companies version....24mm is the softest spring rate and 27.5mm are stiffer and 29mm are the stiffest
