Loss of power at 2500 rpm, terrible mpg..

Hello, I have a 1998 integra gs coupe. Lately I have been getting terrible gas mileage, and when I accelerate, i have a bizare loss of engine power around 2500 rpm, i changed out an o2 sensor and the check engine light went off, but now its back again. do yuo think its a purge valve or something?

I recommend you do a compression test.

try cleaning your MAP sensor and stuff like that.

Or take it somewhere and have the CEL scanned so you know whats up.

is it consistnent loss of power? does it sputter? I had this same problem, turned out to be my distributor
