Checked out aems, not worth the money imo.

Was looking at the plx ones. Not sure of which one to get. Suggestions?

Where did you find that? I'm looking at there site but all I can find is the m300te and they want over 300 for that. I don't need 8 fuel settings. If I do, I can control it on my hondata. I guess I could get away with a bosch wideband 02 and just run the hondata but I would like to have something to display the ratio on the dash.

Still 300? I think I will just stick with the bosch sensor and keep my laptop on board.

No I really need one. The stock o2 just isn't good enough for tuning. I'm looking at picking up another 20hp at least.

I just picked up an AEM Uego wideband with gauge and the bosch sensor for $225 shipped--overnighted. I'm sure I can refer you to a guy I know if you're interested.

OUt of curiousity though, in your opinion, why not the AEM?

I have a PLX and love it. Everyone one I know running a wideband uses either a PLX or FJO

But what advantages will there be getting the m300? What does it do that my S300 doesn't? Should I just get the bosch wideband sensor and forget about the rest?

WOW, thats hideous! Are you trying to drown the piston or something? lol.

OH and ive never gotten in depth into self tuning but I have a acquaintance who works at a local shop and those guys swear by PLX products.

PLX uses Bosch sensors as well. Do you want a way to view the wideband readings in realtime as they occur AND datalog or do you just want to datalog wideband readings? Trying to read feedback from a laptop sitting in the passenger seat just isn't feasible.....or very safe lol

I datalog wideband so I can tune out some of the imperfections but I also like to be able to see it while driving to know what my a/f ratio's are doing and if they were to ever go out of whack I can get off the throttle and save my engine. A datalog doesn't help you much if there's already a hole your block lol
