okay, here is the deal. i'm going to be doing my own little "Hyper Ground Wire" setup. for those that know what it is, and what it does, go with me here.
okay, so here is what i'm looking for, i need a distribution block that has a single 8 gauge input and at least three 8 gauge outputs. i'm interested in trying out this ground wire deal, not for any power of course, but mainly just to help my in car electronics and my exterior lights (head/fog lights) work better and to potentially smooth the idle a bit. i could do it the way i've read about doing it on here. but i want this to be a really clean install and dont want a mess of loose power wire running around the engine bay.
i've been googling all afternoon and havent found one yet. here is the setup i would like to use, run an 8 gauge wire from the battery to the chassis, and another 8 gauge to the distribution block input, and then run an 8g to the alternator, another to the fuse box, and possibly one to the distributor. i've read a little bit into this and have heard of similar things helping smooth out the idle a bit and making your lights etc just a touch brighter.
any help would be appreciated, as to where i can find a distribution block of this nature. or maybe a better setup. i dont want to go spend $150 on something i can do myself for much less. the reason i'm going with 8 gauge wire is because i have about 15ft of it at my disposal and i dont want to throw it away. the terminals/connectors will run me about $15 and the wire is free, i HAD about 25 feet of it, but used some of it for miscellaneous projects. and the wife is telling me to either use it or get rid of it lol, and i dont want to throw all that wire away. if it would be a better idea to run a thicker gauge from the battery to the block (like 6 or 4 gauge) then i'll pick up about 5 feet of it, i can get it from a local shop for close to nothing (love them hookups baby)
so to sum up what i'm looking for, a distribution block with 1 input (4-8 gauge) and 3 outputs (8gauge)
again, any and all help would be appreciated. even a push in the right direction by means of a link or something would be sweet.
thanks for looking, and thanks even more for any help.
