ok i got a deck a few months ago its a jvc 50wx4 peak 25rms with sub outs and everything

my passenger side sub just went out so i figured why put a stock one in there, id rather get something that actually hits a bit lol

any suggestions on what speakers to use, and i would prefer no extra subs or amp if possible, trunk space is a premium

id say $150 to $200 is my budget for speakers

edit: also are their really speaker installation issues like with the stock speaker holder thing being too shallow?

Speaker depths all vary depending on the unit. We put a pair of Alpine Type S's in my buddy's teg and they went in without any problems. Was it the passenger front woofer, or the rear?

Your head unit will not have any problems powering those speakers.
