Look what I did

Done with auto lens repair kit in less than 20 minutes.

That's about it, really. I just wanted to know what anyone thought of this method.

What is this? Something you bought at an autoparts store?

I was assuming you cleaned/buffed your headlight housing. Hope that piece of plastic can hold up to the head that those fogs put out.

Ha. I hope not. It's actually tape. It's from a lens repair kit made to fix holes in headlamp lenses. It's pretty substantial. I haven't run them yet, so. I'll have to see what the result in after prolonged use. I actually had to cut them down a bit to fit behind the glare guards, so I'm hoping this will vent the heat better (if at all). But if they do melt, I'll try to look for some actual coloured bulbs.

My understanding is that the fog lamp and headlight casings are held together with glue, and to get them unglued is to put them in the oven.

Really an unnecessary bump but I picked up those JDM capsules from eBay...and...they're awesome.
