there good, if your going to the extreme in shaving weight. they cost a pretty penny, and you cant tint them. but i think if you use something like vht shade you can get the tinit effect.

well if you end up getting a carbon fiber hatch i would definatley get a lexan window as well just so you not putting too much weight on the carbon fiber and you will probably preserve it for a little bit longer

cops arent really paying attention to what material your windows are made out of. more than half of them are clueless to any mods other than an exhaust and sound system. if you got the $$ then spend it how ou please

Im in a band DO ME!!!!!
They're illegal, but who care's, cops say that intakes are illegal as well, even tho they say street legal on the intake....i wanted to get some for my teg, but then i realized, in texas i need as much tint as possible

But like they said, they are expensive.....and to be honest unless you're stripping your whole car, you're not gonna be saving any weight. It's not like you're gonna shave a second off your 1/4 mile time by just replacing windows

Lexan sucks unless you plan on changing it about 1-2 times a year. It scratches unbelievably easy and it's really hard to see out of in the sunlight. We have to run lexan in my stock car and i hate it, but i heard about an alternative that's like lexan and doesn't scratch. I'll let you know the name just gotta remember it. And no cop is gonna know or care that you have lexan in your hatch window because it's not your windshield so i'd say go for it there at least.
