life expectancy on 10psi boost

Hey guys so iam gonna go boost in a couple months i have an ls motor gonna do 10psi with ARP rod bolts head studs and low comp head gasket how long will she last?

how often do you plan on hitting boost? its impossible to answer a question like that... there are a LOT of variables

It will last as long as you take care of it. (And get a proper tune)

We dont even know what motor you have.

read the thing under the blk line hes got a b18 i have a friends whos runing 15 psi with the rod n bolts n wut not n hes been on it like white on rice for year n a half keep it at ten and youll be good for quite some time but redteg is right get it tuned or ur engine will suffer! btw how many miles is on it? thats a factor also i just got a 47k jdm b18b so i no boosting wont be as bad as an engine with 100k+ miles on it hope i helpd n btw i have a turbo for sale its a garrett pm me if your interested

under the black line:
my old car. CB7 h22 sold it 92 eg hatch b18 eg sold

yes it says b18 but thats in a hatch

and PSI has nothing to do with anything unless we know what size turbo you have. larger turbo 10 psi isnt a problem small turbo 10 psi could be a problem. Alot of things go into this but it comes down to a tune

The safe number I've always read was like 7 psi, but that's on stock internals. Since you're building it up a little then 10 should be ok, but don't take my word for it. Research and tune well.

Yep, you're definitely right about the size of the turbo. He just said LS motor so that's what I went with. I didn't even look at his name or sig lol

And brown rice is delicious.

wild rice is nasty. my brother said if we can get my car to turn 20k he'll slap his semi turbo on it. lol.
