leaking oil

hey guys, i seem to be leaking oil from either my head or the block, at first i thought it was the valve cover gasket so i replaced that, but i think it may be from where the block and the head meet, is that the head gasket or block guard? motor still runs 100% fine because oil leaking is at a very minimum. is this one of those things where if it isnt broke, dont fix it?

Can you take some pics? Might be a broken head gasket. Not quite sure, because the motor is still running fine.

yeah i will when iget home, motor runs 100% fine its just leaking like very minimally

It could just be running down from a spark plug or cam seal

sounds like the culprit to me. is it leaking all over the trans and just behind the header? if so thats prolly it. mine does it to. i know i burn/lose a quart ever 2500-3000 miles. so its not something i worry about.

there are a few possibilities that could be causing an oil leak but if you up load pictures im pretty sure some of the knowledgeable on this site will know right away whats wrong but until you can up load pictures, its gonna be like working on a car in the dark.

i have never seen a head gasket leak oil, its pretty hard to do, where is it leaking it? if its by the vtec selo. i would guess its either that or a cam seal which both are very little to leak on our cars

yeah i plan on uploading pictures as soon as i get the little girl back tomorrow. idk if its the cam seals though...its on the left side of the motor...

theres where the oil is leaking...idk what to do...i hink its the block guard

for some reason it looks like theres oil on the head.clean it off really good with some brake cleaner and run it a high idle ans see if u can pinpoint it. i use dye with a uv lamp .idk i u have access to one but its really accurate.

well for one damn that alot of silicone on the valve cover... and second clean the area near perfect then let the car run and see where its coming from...

lol the tube broke so we did it by hand

looks like a standard cam seal leak or dizzy o ring.

how would i check to see which one it is?
