Well... basically all of you on the board know I've slowly gotten more and more into photography over the last 2 years. With some help from a friend we got a free online site going
Here I upload all of my pictures, show if off, give people my card at events and hopefully can start "doing" something with this now up and running!

as for now here's the site:

http://kuchtaphotography.weebly.com/index.html

Share it with your friends if you think it's cool. Give me feedback, tell me pictures you like, pictures you don't like... requests (sorry, I can't put boobies up on the site yet.. making a private page for that later. lol)

but yeah! Thanks for looking guys!

All comments are appreciated!!

Nice pictures man.... I've been trying to get more into phorotgraphy myself, but I don't even have a good camera yet. Just a Sony digital camera... :( Gotta save up for a while for something like a D40....

BTW, whats the setting you mess with to get that cool light effect? The one that made these look cool? Where the lights leave a trail after them. I thought it was exposure, but I messed with it on my sony and all it did was make the picture brighter.... So I guess it's not that. I sure hope my camera has the ability to take pictures like that. If not, i'll have to smash it to pieces and collect on the insurance. Oh wait, crap it doesn't work that way.

it is exposure, you're right, but it's also with aperture and ISO settings... on a point and shoot like your sony probably is you can't adjust the exposure enough to get blurs like that.

a picture like this:

is taken at 30 seconds of exposure..

That's also how you get pictures of water to look like this:

That one is like 2 seconds of exposure. as far as I know, point and shoot camera's can't really get those sort of effects on the pictures.

when you start getting into long exposures, keep experimenting!

I haven't put these on the site yet, but soon you start playing with night time and get pictures like this:

3549.000 seconds, at 400 ISO with a f/6.3 (I don't know if any of that makes sense to you, but you'll learn the more you get into it!)

I get the exposure and ISO, but not the f/6.3 thingy  What kind of camera do you have?

My camera's exposure settings is monitered by +/- 0.3 - 2.0 EV... So I guess I can't do the seconds thing. Oh wells. My old POS camera used to do the long exposure thing on accident. Sucked so bad it took forever to take pictures and ended up taking several cool pictures like those.

Yuuuuuuuuup. My Sony only lets me do it for like 2-3 seconds though. I used my cell phone for the avatar picture..... I think it's pretty cool.

Lol, used the cell for the light trail... I climbed up my backyard wall last night and snapped a few pictures of the light trails of cars driving by

hahaa..... For the long exposure pictures, did you use a tripod? I notice that it gets really blurry when I try it without steading myself a lot.
