Key only works in driver side door

Just got my teg a couple weeks ago (95 LS sedan) and it needs lots of little things, one of them is that they key will not unlock the passenger side door, only the driver side door (and it's kind of tricky to boot.) Any advice on how to fix that? Or will I need to buy a handle? For what it's worth, the power locks don't work either. Thanks CI.

if the key's too worn down, then i'm assuming getting a key copy made wouldn't be any good since it'd be copying the worn key, correct? i'd have to go to acura and get one from them?

and what does that mean that the lock could also be unhitched from the lock aswell?

thanks for the help

the metal wire that goes from the door lock on the door might be unhitched form the actual lock on the door that allows you to open and close the door.

Similar problem with my Teg. I can't open the drivers side door with the key. I have to go to the passangers side open the door with the key unlock the door from the inside walk back around and open the drivers side from the outside -_-.
So annoying.

just take off the door skin (the painted outside part) and then reconnect the hook which latches to the lock, its similar to installing a door handle

maybe the car was hit on the passenger side and they replaced the door and just kept the lock that came with it possibly lol i dont know

lol, wouldn't surprise me. just found something new about the paint job, so that's not that far fetched, lol.

i have to put the key in at just the right depth to get it to unlock the driver's side door in, it won't unlock it w/ the key all the way in.

try shooting some wd40 in the lock, the dealer can cut a new key with your vin number.
