Just got pulled over

The cop looked like he was ready to arrest me. He kept hammering with questions like I was a suspect of a crime. I felt a little intimidated. He told me my Integra was still in the police database listed as a stolen car.

I was like wtf? Yes, this car was stolen 3 years ago and found stripped on Christmas Day. How the hell it is still on the list when the police recovered my car in some ghetto neighborhood?

That's really odd. My car has been stolen multiple times and when I got pulled over it wasn't an issue.

Its possible the owner that it was stolen from didn't go through the proper procedures when the car was recovered, or the cops dun goofed and missed paperwork. Either way if you have your proper papers, ie registration and title it shouldn't be an issue.

The police was supposed to file my car as recovered to the Department of Justice Stolen Vehicle System. I guess it didn't get processed. I am able to renew vehicle registration on my car just fine. I guess I'll have to call them up.

I've had issues with something similar. Don't trip about it. Show them the regi, insurance, and the dueces. Fuck a cop and his questions

Plant your foot firmly in their ass and threaten to file a lawsuit and that will get it resolved. Cops are crooks with badges. Cops pulled me over cuz my first teg looked "suspicious" ran my plates saw my grandpas name on it so they pulled me out and questioned me for 2hours in the middle of winter and still called a tow truck. Fuck the police

Report Them!!! As long as you have your insurance, registration, and title, and license....You're FINE... California local LEO's right now are little edgy right now with the recent rash of cop killings, just relax, be calm because you are being monitored by the on board dash cam...As for DMV registration, as long as your name is on the title, you'll be ok...8)

you know, I used to be one those that kept saying, F*** tha POLICE!!!! Until a bunch of my buddies became cops after high school and college....Cops can be your best friend as well....
