Just got it and want to beef it up. Need ideas???

I just bought a 1990 LS and want to beef it up. Ima focus on uping my HP and suspension first and worry about cosmetic later on down the road. Its a automatic but I plan on dropping in a 5speed once I find my girl a car What should I do first to my engine any ideas will help I know a little bit about these cars but I love em. Also looking to join a Club in the Houston area. Ill get some pics up soon so I can get advice from all you diehard DA riders

Welcome to CI. Most people go with the Intake-Header-exhaust route right off the bat to get it breathing better and go from there. Good luck with your new DA bro.

What do you recomend for good headers? I've been looking on ebay for some decently priced intakes and exhaust? Any ideas of a good site I should check out for part?

Unless your wanting to spend the money for the name brands get the ebay products. I want to say the ceramic header is which one to get it is about 705 bucks and a 421 set up. But its the o my generic version that fits right the rest have to be modified. Get some strut bars to help with body roll. Throw a 2 to 2.5 piping on it no bigger you will loose back pressure if u do. Cold air intake or ram which ever you like better. And some coil overs to lower it. Then get a good set of shocks.

Don't mod an Auto... your transmission isn't meant to be abused and you will ruin it. Baby the heck out of your car and hope your tranny does ok.

Sounds good. I think ima start off with a cold air intake then get and exhaust and headers. Also looking for some one piece headlights to help with the looks. Probably going to remove the body trim and bumper trim for a smooth look then sand her down and spray some primer on her till I get her painted.
