JRSC Problem...

Okay, so I recently installed a JRSC on my 2001 GS-R.
It cranked the first time and I drove it home. After driving it with no problem for 4 days now eveything seems to be going wrong.
First it shut off (seemed to have lost all the power) in the middle of an intersection. So I figured I plugged in the Alt wrong or something. I towed it home, next day i checked the alt. but everything was fine. I did find that the belt going from the alt to the super jumped a grove, so I put it back on the belt and re tensioned both the belt going from the alt. to the super and the one from the crank to the alt.
Then, it cranked and it didnt throw any codes so I assumed that it was fine. After driving it around for a day fine. It just shut off again like it lost all the power. So I re-read all the instructions and checked everything I did, and I am pretty sure i installed it correctly.
Now I recharged that battery and I cranked it again and checked the codes and it threw the codes for Oxygen Content (1) and Crank Speed Fluctuator Sensor (54). So I did some searching and I thought maybe if I reset the ECU then it would be okay. So I just did that. Right after cranking it the CEL came on and i checked it and it was 54 again but not 1.
I did knock off the knock sensor while installing it, but I was told by more than one mechanic that it wasnt something i needed to get fixed right away.
If anyone just has any ideas that would be great, because I am basically all out.
Thanks,
Chappy

This is the second time I heard of someone installing a JRSC and having problems.

You installed it yourself?
Yup

So right now you dont have a knock sensor?
Yes. I do have the part that broke off, and I was going to solder it back on, but there really wouldnt be any way to do that without removing the supercharger and the manifold.
I was flipping out when I hit it off, but two of my mechanics said that it wasnt dire to get it fixed.

Thats interesting. The weird thing for me was that it rode great for like 4 days, then all the sudden it was like the car was getting no electricity.

I forgot what the problem was. My friend who owns a shop worked on a DC4 with one. I forgot what the problem was, but he figured it out and fixed the problem. Not to be disrespectful or anything, but you should've had a professional install the SC.

Yeah, well I was up for the challenge. And its not very much fun to sit in the waiting room while people work on your car for you, in my opinion.

I forgot aleady. Lol! I'll ask him later today. When I revved the car, there was a little lag.

I have noticed a little lag since the first time it broke down just like driving it up and down my road. So hopefully we have the same problem. :)
