JDM vs. USDM head question

IS THERE A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A 98 SPEC B18C5 HEAD COMPARED TO THE JDM B18C HEAD?

THE REASON I ASK IS CAUSE A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE AT ACURA TOLD ME THAT THERE IS A JDM B18C-R SHORT BLOCK BRAND NEW STILL IN THE BOX FROM HONDA JAPAN COMING IN THAT HE HAD DIBS ON TO GIVE TO ME. NOW I KNOW INLINEFOUR.COM HAS A BRAND NEW USDM B18C5 HEAD FOR SALE SAME THING IN THE BOX FROM HONDA THAT I WAS THINKING OF BUYING TO HAVE ANOTHER MOTOR TO BUILD UP ON THE SIDE BUT DIDNT KNOW IF THAT WOULD WORK AS GOOD AS THE JDM ONE.

GOT A PET PEEVE ABOUT MIXING THING :lol:

I believe they are both pr3 heads with the same components.

yup C5 is pretty much just a ported B16 head

so if this JDM b18c is a r and not a gsr it will be the same if its a GSR well than you have your self an issue lol
