JDM Front End Questions.

First of all I wasnt sure if I should put this in the 3rd gen general tech, or here, so I hope it's in the right spot.

My question does not involve "will everything line up", "how do I install it" or "what do I need for this". I know how to weld and have everything I need, so I'm not worried about anything like that.

My questions are more along the lines of authenticity. Ive searched google, CI, Team-Integra and I cant find anything about this subject. Are there such things as replica JDM front end conversions? Im going to buy this JDM front end or the HID version, cant decide yet. I just wanted to make sure I dont get a crappy replica for the money.

Does that look good?

all the fenders, lights, and bumper should be stamped with Honda somewhere, i don't thing the rad support or bumper support are stamped.
and yes the jdm front end will fit any 3rd gen.

What do you consider a crappy replica? I don't know how someone would make a crappy metal fender, or a crappy metal radiator support lol. I do believe that companies sell replica JDM fronts, as for them being crappy.. I do not know..

Well I wasn't sure if they are OEM or not. Most of the places I see doesn't say if it's OEM or not. As in a crappy replica, I wasn't sure if there was a company out there making knock offs. Kind of like how Rota makes wheel replicas that (from what I've heard aren't that good)

I've seen a lot of the JDM fronts, only "Fake" ones I've seen have been fiberglass. But these still require the correct rad core support and what not. As far as the one you linked, if it's the actual one you are getting, it looks real and off a half cut. A lot of companies will sell the front end and then sell the right hand drive conversion, making money off the entire thing.

Just get it from a place this is known if you are worried

Ok that's exactly what I was looking for. Just a little reassurance that I'm not spending $1,000 on a replica when OEMs are around that price.

Thank you very much!

accord front end? naw you dont want that! lol.

100% bolt on if you get the radiator support. OE HIDs will only bolt up to NON ABS G3s and 98-01 cause of the updated slimmer ABS module.

btw if you get OE fibglass stuff, its great quality and fitment. Definately  to MUGEN and J'S RACING.

Shipping for it is $300 to Michigan. It would be more to Canada. And boarder fees would probably be another $4-500. So it's kind of out of the question

The site I linked is 4 hours away from me so I could pick it up to inspect it before purchase.
