Ok so i just picked up a jdm front end and some one tells me that i need to buy a core support so i went with it. But i was looking at the rad support and the core support and they look the same to me. I just dont wanna end up getting the core support and have it end up being the same thing as a rad support because i can get them cheap.. So what i want to know if its the same thing or not and if not would i have to get them both or just one.. Thanks in advance..

you should have radiator support, bumper support and a reinforcement bar. so believe a core support is the same thing as a radiator supports. but there is a difference between the jdm and usdm radiator supports. i bought a new one. But another member dailydrivendb8 modified his to work. hope that helps

konerri is correct about using the jdm t-bar method. some actually use it because the lower portion of the support is exactly the same, jdm & usdm. IMO its better off to get the whole support, it'll count down on welding time and you dont have to worry about further alignment issues.
