jdm 4-2-1 itr headers

im planning to buy a jdm 4-2-1 itr headers (96-97 models) for my brothers 92 4dr gs. i know the top will fit but what about the collector part. will it hit the cross-member? how hard is to make it fit? i know the outlet is 2.5 so i will be using a high flow cat. or should i just buy a megan racing headers for the teg. my budget is 150-160 bucks and im getting the itr headers for 150 bucks.

I wish I could get itr header'S for $150.

The piping of the itr exhaust is 2.36 so I'm not sure why honda would put a 2.5 inch outlet on their header. You can get the whole job done at a muffler shop, which would be a lot better so you can actually see and adjust the length of the piping to fit your 4door.

the dc2 itr collector can clear the crossmember, you need a universal cat with a 2.5" opening flange

yeah thats why i jumped in lol... well im getting installed the headers and exhaust at his place so i dont have to deal w fitment (piping part).

sweet i was worry bc i saw a threat / link somewhere where the crossmember had to be removed and get modify in order to get it in there but it was a 4-1 jdm itr. so i just need to extend the cat piping to make it fit right ? will they align straight? thanks

you might not because the OEM jdm itr header is smililar to stock. the 4-1 is bigger at the bottom since all 4 tubes come together. You will need to reclock some flanges though

oh ok cool. thanks man. btw i just want to make sure, usdm itr headers collector is 2.25 OD all models and just JDM itr headers collector is 2.5 OD right?
