hey sup everyone. i did something that you might find "crazy" or just plain dumb. but what happened.was that one of my wheels was losing air pretty fast, i thought my tire had a nail or leak somewhere but soon found out it was my wheel that was leaking air. it was cracked at the rim of the wheel about 2 inches in towards the middle on both sides. i came up with an idea to use jb weld material to repair the crack. so i smeared the stuff on the damaged area making sure i dont miss a crack otherwise it might leak. i waited a day for it to dry then slaped my tire (which wasnt damaged) and amazingly it worked. no leak visable. not even diped in a water tank. the wheel now placed in th eright rear of my teg riden smooth. but im not sure if this is a perminent fix for the wheel. i got doubts so asking for your opinions.

well did u prep the surface at all when u put it on? and im assuming u put it inside. but i would keep checking for leaks and in a month or 2 take the tire off and inspect.

i definently preped the surface before i applyed the substance. sanded it down and spayed brake cleaner on it.

you stopped the air from leaking..but isn't the rim still suspect?
