j1 b16 tranny,which ls to use for 5th gear swap

so i have a j1 b16 tranny and im trying to do the ls 5th gear swap, i used my 90 integra ls tranny for the 5th gear swap and it didnt fit,so my question is do i use the 92-93 tranny??i know the clutches r diffirent but will the synchros fit if i use the newer ls 5th

i think all of the 92+ should be the same, because i know that the jdm b16 trans is more similar to the 92-93 LS than it is to the 90-91

I May be mistaken, but I think you can use the 5th gear from either the 92-93 ls trans or even an 94+ hyrdo ls trans

hit up venus auto in sac (916) 386-2286 they may have some b16 trans. oh and careful with your car. Last time I was in Davis, some douche, tried stealing my car but couldn't,so they decided to break the keyholes instead.:evil:

Might be kind of hard to find, but if you can find one without any grinds or pop outs, it would be a good come up

i got that b17 tranny, guy was real cool n i went to his house so i felt more re-assured,but yeah
