you can only use an integra exhaust from a 90-93 i thinkSorry to change the subject but Ive found some exaust for a 96 to98 integra but I own a 1990 integra about to have a type r motor installed. does it matter what exaust i use?

You have to use an exhaust for a 90-93 Integra.Sorry to change the subject but Ive found some exaust for a 96 to98 integra but I own a 1990 integra about to have a type r motor installed. does it matter what exaust i use?
It also has to be hatch back or sedan specific. You can use a DA exhaust on a DB1 and vice versa. You have to use an exhaust for a 90-93 Integra.
I think 2.5" on a stock ITR is a bit overkill. 2.36" should be perfect.Shouldn't be hard to find an exhaust for it then. If you're going to have an ITR motor, I would do like mentioned above and get a traction bar so you can run an ITR header or something with a 2.5" collector and go 2.5 all the way back.
You're probably right.I think 2.5" on a stock ITR is a bit overkill. 2.36" should be perfect.
