itr carbon fiber window switch real?

looks like a carbon fiber pattern was painted on it. how do i tell if its real or not?

shouldnt it look like a layer of clear coat is over it like this?

They're faux carbon fiber, that was spray painted on from Honda for the itr. Not real carbon fiber material. Icbmotorsports sells nothing, but authentic JDM parts. Lol I have the window switches in my car. Word of caution, when you install the driver side JDM window switch, make sure you fix your wiring or fuses, before you use it.

oh i see, so are the climate control and ashtray spray painted too? havent seen them in real life yet.

Yep. Wouldof been nice for honda to make it look a little better back then. My moms 03 accord has faux carbon and it looks beautiful.

^^ agreed. I have them in my car, but I'm not too impressed with the "quality"

Its just something to stand out a bit over stock tho, so I'll keep it. lol

yup def not real CF

if you look the pattern on the fake goes up and down
the patter on the real CF goes across at an angle

Definitely true. The quality of the part is not great. You have to be pretty fragile or else the paint might fade a little.
