when i replace my stock shift knob to a replica type R knob,
the number on the knob are on the opposite side when it is turn
all the way..so i was wondering if there is a way i can
straight out the number and have my knob turn all the way?..

put a screw on the threads first then the knob nd once you screw the knob down till its straight then tighten the nut to the bottom of knob.

The shifter should have come with a nut to put on first, and then you can turn the knob into it so it lines up properly

You don't need a screw- you need a NUT
