What do you guys think. I emailed the guy and I'm expecting some BS story about how he is somewhere else in the world and he wants me to put my money in an escrow or something. Do you guys think that a car like this would sell so low unless it was a scam? http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/879688894.html

edit: plus who sells a car for $2496. I just think that is a weird number.

I'm sure you'll get the response that you are expecting

I've played this game with another member on here before. The member emailed a guy on an east coast post about something like this and he responded that he was in Houston. So I emailed him and said I was in Houston and he said he was on the east coast. Douche

^who knows...if thats the price and its legit jump on that shit! but imo that sounds like its dealer... or hes just that desperate. for the price he may have taken several blue book values and just used the average and thats what it came too...

Well if he really is, I'd be that happiest dude around. Thats exactly how I wanted my teg to look. I've been looking for cars for quite awhile now. And I email people just to see if it is a real deal. And 90% of the time I get all this escrow crap. Subaru's are the worst. Every single nice one I found was a scam. What is the world coming to.

Or it could have been a mistake. Maybe the guy wants $12,496. I saw a NSX that got posted for $11,000 instead of $21k. When I called on it the lady said that she accidently posted the price wrong and that she had recieved numerous phone calls on it. Lol, that would have been mine if legit.

Haha, thanks a lot Glen.

Hello,

If you are interested in my 2001 Acura Integra GSR-T, I'm his first
owner, it is in perfect condition, with no need for additional repairs,
no scratches, dings, special marks whatsoever. It has 56,794 miles and
the VIN # is :JH4DC23901S003418. It has a clear title ready to be signed
and notarized on your name.

I have the pictures hosted on the net and you can see them at :
http://mynetimages.com/album/AcuraIntegraGSR/GSR/

The car is located Bedford, TX.

The price is $2,496 including shipping costs anywhere in the continental
US. There are no other costs regarding this transaction. I am selling
the car because I am in the army, and my unit will be deployed to
Afghanistan in November.

The transaction will be closed only through a 3rd party and this way we
will both be protected. My time is limited due to my job in the army so
I decided to use a service from ProPay. To begin the transaction I'll
need your full name and shipping address, I will forward the details of
our transaction to ProPay and then you will receive an invoice from
them. The car will be shipped insured to your location with DAS and you
will have 5 days for inspection.

Thank you,
Glen Preston

I love how he said he is going into the army and that is why he has to sell it. His orginal add, claimed he was buying a house so he had to sell it. (not like 2500 is going to help buy a house)
