In that case you have a GS. A GSR would have DC2 in the vin im pretty sure.

DC4= RS/LS/GS/SE

dc2= GSR

its 97 ls i reconed before but when i look in the door pannel to look for vehicle exterior paint code i sw that and kinda tripped me out

Check the other vins too. There should be one either on the inside of the trunk and maybe on the bumper when you first open the trunk. Hood too.
