Is this a good turbo kit

cheap bastard
For a cheap kit, that's not bad however most of us on this forum tend to steer people away from the ebay kits. They generally aren't the greatest quality and include a lot of generic knock-off parts or no-name parts which basically means you have zero quality control. It may be fine or it may give you lots of issues. It's hit or miss. $800 should get you a decent turbo and MAYBE a log mani. A whole kit for $800, I'd be sketched.

Plus, it says you still need to purchase a downpipe and don't forget about the ECU, fuel injectors, pressure regulator and other tuning items that you want to do on turbocharged motors. That's another $500+ so add that into you pricing

Don't do it...we've discussed this over and over again. If you purchase an ebay-kit you will be re-doing your setup all over again...and be spending a lot more.

It's an eBay turbo kit. Self explanitory. I have seen some beastly cars with these on yotube but as far as reliability I wouldn't trust it

These kits suck ass. I have had one and the manifold was in a million pices after 3 months. I have also seen a few friends have a lot of problems with them. Its worth it to save up and buy a nice setup

my buddy has the full eBay XS Power kit, and we had to weld on his wastegate again. It came with a ramhorn manifold, so the wastegate was hanging off the front. And apparently, it just fell off one day. The welds broke.

i bought my whole turbo kit minus injectors and tune for 480 shipped. never had any problems with it except for the 20g manifold it game with. get a blox cast iron on ebay for like 130 and youll be good to go with everything else. with the cheapo kit i ran a 12.8 at the track and even after i got my use out of it, i sold the whole kit and parts from it are currently on a few different cars around town that run fine. not saying cheap is always good, but you can go wrong if you only spend a little on something easily worth more then what it costs. if you have the money, and plan on going higher boost with build, i wouldnt get cheap anything. if your going to boost 4-15 pounds, any cheap kit is well worth it.
