Is this a good deal for Garrett turbo

this guy is selling it on craigslist and is willing to trade for a laptop that i do not use anymore since buying my thousand dollar sony laptop its useless to me so he offers:
T3 garrett turbocharger, front mount bar and plate intercooler, wastegate, intercooler piping with couplers, clamps and blow off valve, dumptube, & stainless oil feed line thats it and here is the pic of it
by the way only looking to get a lil fun out of it since. Ill be re-building my completely stock gsr. and only trying to reach about 240 horse with a decent amount of torque.

yea he claims its almost new cause he only used it on his b18 for a few weeks.. when i go see it what should i look for to make sure its a good working turbo.

okay i know how to check for shaft play. i just push against the turbine and see if theirs any play, correct me if i am wrong also how should the turbine look, what is a sign to steer clear of this turbo.

Make sure there is no damage to the turbine.. chips or cracks.. make sure there is no oil inside of the turbo.. could indicate a blown oil seal if there is.. make sure the shaft has no play in it. Look inside the exhaust ports and everything to make sure no cracks are developing. I don't know about Garret turbo's, but I have seen plenty of Greddy turbo's that have little hairline cracks inside of them.
