is there a way to tell if ur engine was swapped

I have a 90 DA and it says 91 integra on the valve cover. Is there a way to tell if the engine was swapped?

See if they match up.

Serial number on the VIN should match on the block if it has not swapped the engine.

So the engine code for my B18A1 is 01987 and is it the 5 last numbers of my VIN? Although none of the numbers match with my VIN. Its too bad that i dont know the milage of the engine.

yea its been swaped!!!!!!!!!!!

the vin shudve matched up if anything...but in ur case since it didnt match up then its been swaped...next mission to check is if the motor is stolen!
