I'm a little confused as to what engine you're trying to swap in to you car?

He wants to swap a working ls with a dead one. ZThat's all. My recommendation is if you don't know how to do one..I'd get someone who does know..you don't wanna kill that newer engine.

Yes it is possible. The engines are generally known as LS motors. You have a B18a1 in your car and the motor would most likely be a B18b1, it could also be a B18a1. Long story short- it's the same motor.

However, $500 off eBay isn't really a good deal. There are probably a dozen companies locally that will sell you a motor. I found lots of 50k or lower motors with a warranty for under $800. And like it was already said.. if you don't know how to do it, you might want to research a bit more or let someone else take over for you.

300 around CO for a b18b1, if you want alittle more power thats what I would put in over the A1 its the same just better

HOLD ON!

before you jump on that motor.

There's two different kinds.
90/91 OBD0
&
92/93 OBD1

Your motor is OBD1 and you should stick to it. It is slightly more powerful. On top of that, it will be a more direct swap.

" I can't believe nobody mentioned this"
Reppp power ;)
