Is a pcv valve needed?

ok i broke my PCV. i pluged teh box it connected to and blocked the hose on the intake manifold is the PCV connection need if it is blocked off and will my6 car run fine with it blocked off?

It should run fine for a while but try to get it replaced soon. the pcv valve removes gases from the valve cover and if you build up to much gas in the valve cover it might cause the gasket(s) to blow or start leaking.

simmilar shyt happened to me a while back. you might have to remove the fuel rail if you still have a piece of teh PCV stuck in the manifold.

if you are going to remove the fuel rail REMEMBER TO OPEN THE GAS TANK FIRST.

PCV valve are dirt cheap and the rapair should take more than 1 hour. fix it quick and dont take chances wiht your engine.
