Irratic Idle

So when I got the car it idled really low, around 300 or so. Turned out to be the exhaust cam was a tooth off.
Fixed that and it still idled low so I adjusted the idle screw. Helped for awhile then the idle became irratic once the car is warmed up
I have tried the simple stuff so far. Simple stuff meaning, tune up, hitting the gas pedal, etc etc.
Dont have an egr so I know it isnt dirty, but I havent check the eacv yet but that will be my project in the morning.
Just wanted to see if anyone out there could give what else they think it might be just in case. I kind of figure the eacv is stuck open and might just need a cleaning, but I dont know much about that area due to never having experience with it.

Any info helps guys

Thanks for the thought bro. Im not too worried about it, I got quite a bit of work experience so its just a matter of time of another company wanting me. Lol. I got some big plans for the car though. Going with a reverse panda plasti-dip after I get Se side skirts and spoiler. If by then I still want to keep it, im going to do a ZC internals swap and an accord 5th gear swap with a stage 2 clutch.

Word, trace all your vacuum lines make sure they're all in place with no dry rotting or holes.

EACV cleaned. Outcome? Irratic idle fixed, high idle fixed, shudder acceleration fixed. I believe that counts as a win

sorry to bump this thread, if you dont mind me asking, what did you do to fix it? I just bought this 98 ls and car runs fine, then i noticed the idle started fluctuating, bouncing, (sorry but this is my very first honda, been a toyota driver all my life), i checked all my hoses from the booster to the pcv valve and no dry or pin holes, i removed the idle control sensor and had little dirt, cleaned up and now not only bounces but idles high...

This is the wrong thread to ask this question cause your idle control valves will be different since yours is a 98 and mine was an 88. Not sure how they do it in yours but I believe they actually split the cold and warm idle control valves. So you might have just cleaned the cold idle valve. Mine they were in the same unit so it was easy to find and fix

I would recommend you just start a new thread or use the search to find what your looking for.. Sorry I couldnt have been much help
