Interior Painting

Please I am just looking for some positive comments. I just want my interior to be black, I dyed my carpet black and I really want the rest to be black. I can't find ANYONE with interior parts, NONE!. I really think painting would work if i do it right, I just need advise on what kind of paint. I want it to look good

Ive also been thinking of also painting some of my tan interior black. I know they make special spray cans of interior paint at advanced thats what i was gonna use. If you dont do it beofore me ill post pics lol

There really isnt anything positive about painting vinyl. It will crack and fade. It will look cheesy. It will not be of OEM fit and finish.

You have a DA. Not gonna fit.

If you wanna paint, make sure you clean it very good and use a paint adhesion to make sure the paint sticks. Go with a low-gloss black for the dash and panels/plastics.

Theres a guy on here that used the fabric spray paint for his seats and turned out pretty good.

Youre going to need to use a solvent to eat all the yrs of armor all and other crap that will stay even after you wash it.

Alright I think I am going to do it then, what do you think steps should be then?

-Some sort of amonia base cleaner?
-primer of some sort
-2-3 coats of low-gloss flat black plastic/vinyl paint
-no clear coat?

dude just go to your local junkyward because im pretty sure they'll have a stripped dc with black interior then just get every piece you need. then just buy the big parts off someone parting out a dc like seats and dash because a junkyard would charge way to much for that. but i couldnt see spending more than 300 for everything inside to convert to black interior

150 for the dash alone no air bag. and those are california prices

Dude I dont' live in california... There ain't integras everywhere, not be be raciest but all latino's mostly drive integras from what I heard, and most latino's live in cali... I live in illinois I went to about 20 junkyards I can't find any DB at alll or anything remotely close to a g2
