integra getting too much fuel!!!

I have a 1990 ls integra that i have been working on since halloween. I was having a little idle issue so i had a friend come over and we clean out the iacv, replaced the air filter and fuel filter and tightened the valves to spec with a feeler gauge. ever since thenit acts like its getting too much gas and floods out. it only starts when i floor the gas, and then only runs right above 3500 rpm. it produces white smoke like crazy. I have replaced the fuel pressure regulator, iacv, tps, fuel injector resistor pack, o2 sensorand map sensor. its getting the right fuel pressure. the only way i can keep it running at idle is to adjust the idle speed screw almost all the way ut and its still showing code 43 on the ecu.if it falls below 3500 rpm it runs like a weed eater when you first start it with out choke, you give it gas and it acts like its going to die. please help.

Too much fuel results in dark smoke out the back, and leaves black dust like deposits on your bumper. White smoke is a result of water or coolant. Maybe your headgasket is bad?

no mods done to car its my wifes, and the headgasket is fine, we know the white smoke is gas cuz when we start it the whole shop will smell like gas and we have to open the garage doors, we have even had some customers complain about it! we did a compression test on it yesterday, i removed all spark plugs and when i cranked it gas just starting shooting out, and after about 45 seconds the whole front of the car was soaked with gas. i really dont want to have to take this to acura but its looking like thats my only option at this point.

Wait... What?
you definately have a fuel problem but i think what he meant was that you must have another problem also. White smoke is NOT a sign of fuel, its usually a coolant leak

i just went out to the car to dig it out of the snow{so much fun} and when i first started it it was black smoke but then went to all white. so if the head gasket would that cause the motor not to idle and make it stumble up to 3500?

nothing from nowhere
you ecu might be keeping the injectors open too long. fix the fuel problem and see what happens with the smoke.

i apperciate all the help you guys have givin me. i figured out half the problem yesterday, the car is not running rich, i didnt have any spark, bad plug wires. so i put some denso wires and new ngk plugs in it and it donst miss or flood any more but it still wont idle. the rpms are very irractic and then it just dies after you put it in gear. i think the smoke is because its cold outside, it's only like 20f here.

All vehicles have vapor that comes out of the exhaust on cold starts. When the car gets to operating temperature you shouldnt see it anymore. Does the 'smoke' go away after some time? or is it constant no matter how long the vehicles been on?

it only whites smokes when its tryin to idle, once you strat going it stops. the car runs like a bat outta hell now its freakn great, except the whole idle thing

its so hard to diagnose a car without seeing it. Check for a vac leak and try tapping on the iac valve. good4u!

I am putting my cash on Head Gasket. How many miles on it, and when was the last time you replaced it? If it is spewing more white smoke then an opium bar in southern china, your headgasket is toast.
