Integra Boosting Issues

So Here is my Problem.
I am running a LS turbo set up.

I cant seem to rev the car pass 4000 rpm.
If i remove the turbo from the intake manifold, The car revs up all the way to redline.

I have a base map set to the cars specs. I wanna know if this is normal before i try to drive the car up to get it tuned to perfection. ($400 to tow car) That is why i want to make sure the car is good to go before i bring it to get tuned.

Let me know what you guys think could be the problem.

sounds like an issue with the air going into the motor, or a sensor.
my best guess since you say you can get it to rev with the manifold off. is that with sensors unplugged?

That is with all sensors plugs in. Idles Fine and everything. Just when i try to rev up to 4k it chokes. I even made sure my inter-cooler was completely clean to suck in air.

Yikes you are attemping to boost on a basemap. It wont pass 4000 because its probably lean as the turbo is building pressure. You may have already damaged your pistons. STOP beating on your car until its tuned. You can drive it to the tuners but dont boost. You can remove the wastegate spring to bypass the turbo. Monitor your wideband! (if you have one)

Brand new block/Engine/Turbo set up. I just wanna make sure that the issue is Tune related and not mechanical. Trust me I am not trying to beat up the engine. I just want to make sure its running fine for tuning. I just dont want to bring it to dyno, just so they can tell me something is wrong with the car.

You proved that when you removed the turbo from the test equation by disconnecting the intake.

$400 for a tow? Just wondering, how far away is it? AAA plans are like $110 per year for tows up to 100 miles. Greatest investement I ever made

its ur air fuel. ur car isnt tuned so you cannot go into boostwhen you rev. when my car wasnt tuned i would be driving and floor it and my car would shut off and backfire and have a crazy spool but when i got it tuned it was fine. u just gotta take it easy untill u got it tuned but yes its safe to drive just shift through gears at low rpms and get up to speed
