integra and accord the same?

i really dont know anything about 1st gens, but i saw an old accord the other day and i was wondering do they share a lot in common?

Not really... Accords and Integra's looked alike until 94 but they had different engines and the chassis was longer, along with a 4x114 bolt pattern.

It's closer to:

Prelude = Accord
Integra = Civic

back then it was easy to see the similarities of Honda/Acura cars...I guess in 10 years we'll say the same thing about todays cars

Kind of like the 94-97 Accord and the late model G3 JDM Integra. The G2 Integra looks even more similar to the 90-93 Accord.

Why do people always make that mistake? I once got really confused because I saw a Rover on my street that looked just like my 'teg. Identical in every way, except the rover was 4 door. After doing some research, I found that Rover bought the design for the G1 'Teg and made it into a pissweak economy family car.
