intake question, AEM vs. Spectre

Hey guys what up...I'm just curious if there is any real diffeence between an AEM short ram and the spectre intakes from autozone?...I mean they vertually do the same job and I can't find an AEM intake for our car except for a 89 crx witch might fit...so what are ur thoughts?

So does anyone got any more info for me?...cause if those spectre intakes are the same s*** as aem I'm just going to get one of those cause for some reason autozone, walmart, and napa don't have my air filter in stock so I might as well get the spectre if anything

you can get that one but you should get a K&N filter and replace the one it comes with.

the only diff is that aem uses a coating on the inside of the pipe to reduce heat from friction. cooler air is more combustable...yada yada...
