intake filter question

So I have an aftermarket filter on my stock intake piping, someone just told me it could damage my car? True?

They said its not made for an aftermarket cone filter its only made for the stock airbox so it will mess up the air flow

No, you're fine. An aftermarket intake tube could possibly help air flow (I haven't looked in to it) but you'll have no issue using your factory tube, tons of people do

hahaha as long as u don't run straight filter to ur throttle body like some idiots around here....LOLL

yeah it'll be fine...I had one on my D16z6 sohc... sometimes when i hit high rpms it feels weak...

later i noticed the stock tubing had a tear in it....If your stock tubing is fine, I'd go back to a stock filter box...or just get an ebay intake .....aluminum piping with new filter...

i got a top fuel 1000 power chamber intake on my integra now...i love the "Deep" tone on hard accelerating haha
