Installing OEM Optional Sides

alright so i got some oem optional sides last ngiht and i am going to put them on today, there already painted and everything. Anyways, besides taking off the stock side skirts that come on the car. what else is ther eto have to worry about and do when i put them on.

get you some 3m 2 sided automotive tape and use that to attach to the body of the car......thats about all i know

I thought you were supposed to install the OEM optionals OVER the stock sides?
