Installed freshly painted Valve Cover

like the title says, i recently installed a freshly painted valve cover (that i bought from member 8urcivic)
when i bought the valve cover from him, it was stripped down to the metal, which made life SOOO much easier lol. anyway, painted it black with some VHT wrinkle black paint. i wasn't too thrilled with the shade of black. in fact, it almost looked the same shade of black as the old valve cover (which was practically GREY) so i decided to apply some flat black paint over top of it (same paint i used on my intake) i did that so that the colors would match. and it came out pretty good IMO, i applied alot of clear-coat on the VC for durability reasons. anyway, enough of the "blah blah... shit" and onto the good stuff:

opinions?

i also replaced a few hoses/wire looms that WERE blue, with nice black ones for a cleaner appearance.

in a way, i feel i might have went a little too heavy with the clear, but it looks better in person than the pics actually show. next up is the factory heat shield on the exhaust mani. going to take it off and paint it flat black with NOOOOOOO clear for a fresh factory look.

OH YEAH, does anyone have an OEM OIL CAP that they want to get rid of for cheap? if its not OEM it must be BLACK!!!!!

well, it is wrinkle black. i just painted some low gloss black over top of it because the VHT wrinkle black was a pretty dull shade of black right out of the can. i wanted to match the color of my CAI. thanks for the comments everyone, i know its not everybody's cup of tea, but the old faded and chipped valve cover had to go. i may strip that one down and do a flat black paint job on it. no wrinkle, no clear, no "Low Gloss" paint. purely a flat black and try that one out.
