install bass sub woofer.

I would like to know if anybody installed a Boss bass600 sub woofer under the front passengers side seat on a DA9. If so how did you do it? I installed a Dual XHD7714 head unite, Pioneer 2 way shallow mount 6.5 in the doors, and Dual 3 ways in the rear deck. The system needs a little more bass. So I picked up the Boss sub woofer because I read on different forums that it worked very well under the front seat. Did not find any forums on how it was installed. At first fitting it looks like I will have to jack the front seat up about an inch. So I was wondering if anybody has done this and how you went about it?

Put it in the trunk. I've never heard of putting it under the seat in a car.

you should put it in the hatch area,ive installed subs under seats and there is just no room for it to hit under there and if u jack up the seats up any higher youre head will hit the roof trust me i know i swapped rsx leathers in my da and my head was on the roof

you could put a floor shaker under your seat but itll tear you car apart. just put it in the trunk.

I think you gentleman are right.

The dimensions of the sub woofer are 13.8 X 10 X 2.625 by all rights it should fit. But there is no way I can get it under the seat with out modifying. So trunk it is and I want to thank all of you for your input it was very helpful.
