I'm lookin' at a p28 w/ s300 installed...

A friend of mine has this for sale. I will be needin' the s300 later down the road when I go turbo. But, I'm stayin' with non-vtec B18's since I have 4 of them! So my question is:

-Will this p28 ecu be fine to use with my engines?(Since the p28 is a vtec ecu)
-Can I just disable the vtec on the p28 with the s300?
-Any other help here would be great..

N yes I'll be obd-1 once I start the project.

you can put whatever map on the s300 you want, vtec or ls. positive side to it being a p28 and not an ls p72 is that the wires for the vtec solenoid are already there. However, if that s300 has a vtec map on it already, you will need to get a basemap or tuned map for your ls motor.
