i have a 1990 ls auto just put in a 93 ls engine in it but my wiring harnes is not matching up any help would be great

are you 100% sure the engine you put in is a 93? and are you 100% sure the harness is from a 90? could someone have done a swap before you owned the car and just not told you? or the person before that or whatever?

I had a buddy that got a Civic SiR for a couple of grand and when he washed the engine, found it was a B18C5. Full ITR swap but the owner before my buddy had no idea. Lucky him.

im pretty sure when i got the car it was stock b18a1 auto i recently bought another b18a1 complete and just dropped it in and the wiring does not match up. i am tryin to figure out if there is a difference between the harness

Can check the vin on the tranny, but of the wiring harness isn't matching up then it's probly obdII, go check the distributor on the new motor, if it has 2 plugs then it's obdI, if it has one plug then its obdII
