So I bought my 95 gsr about a year ago and love it. But, it does need some work and i don't have the money to take it to the shop, but I finally have some time to work on it, but don't know if some of this stuff is do-able. apparently you guys love pics so i did my best haha. opinions please...

I have some rust that needs to be taken care of. I'm not sure how much i can do about it, and how i'm supposed to get rid of it.

I also have a lot of scratches but i do have paint to touch it up, but not sure how to do it. Here's an example...

I'm trying to get some new fat fives because two of them we're stolen before I bought it so each side has a diff set of rims. But the ones that i do have now got killed by a curb apparently. Can i good polish take care of that?

My front passenger side bumper is messed up too. Can i paint that? If it's even possible, how hard would it be to fix that "dent"?

I alsoooo need some new tires. and i live in the chi and we get some bad snow, especially where i am with the lake effect. If you any of you guys use winter tires can you tell me if they're worth using? last winter i slid out, hit a curb side-on, and shattered my rotor into pieces, but also messed up my control arms really bad. my wheel was at like a 45 degree angle :(. so any suggestions on cheap but quality tires would be appreciated.

Thanks guys, btw sorry for the double post, i wanted to move this to the noob section

Keep It Clean
Welcome to the forum:) You'll have to have the rust taken care of by a skilled person. the rust must be grinded out or that section must be cut out and a piece of sheet metal must be tacked than welded in and smoothed out, primer than painted. The front bumper cover and mirror can be repainted with matching paint.

Over all it looks pretty nice man! I want a GSR so bad.

Oh, and you can check your local craigslist for some Fat Fives.

Welcome. This baby needs a make over. I would sug making some friends that can do body work. Some of that quarter rust can be fiberglassed. By the quarter panel by the rocker panel need to have pieces made and welded in or get a quarter panel patch kit and weld it in. I would not sug doing it yourself. Hondas body panels are thing and unless you have a very good welder you'll blow right though it. Good luck

good luck with the rust, i would try and get it taken care of as soon as you could, especially with the snow it'll only get worse and start eating away more
