The answer depends on the application. If the engine has mild upgrades then stock is fine but I would replace the wear items with new OEM parts. If you NEED more spark energy for forced induction then you have many choices. If youre tuned with Hondata then their CPR kit is a great option. If you're not using Hondata then M&W Pro 10 with Crane PS92 coil is a serious ignition system for stock Honda distributor platform. If running AEM EMS / Motec / Megasquirt then you can use anything.
