idling trouble

92' integra, auto tranny, when the car is in drive it is idling rough, the dash shakes and the levers beside the steering wheel and everything, but when the car is in neutral its idling at the exact same rpm but nothing shakes it idles fine, what could be the cause of this, and what is the average RPM a 92' auto should idle at?

this same thing happens to me when my car is idling, when i come to a complete stop the dash shakes a bit. as far as i know though this isnt effecting anything with the car so my guess is that its just the characteristics if the motor
